Summer Finale Invitational Showcases Strong, Exclusive Field of TJGT Past Champions – View Full Tournament Info Here
DALLAS, TX | MARCH 27 – The Texas Junior Golf Tour is proud to announce The Elites Cup – a new invitational tournament on the TJGT schedule that will serve as the culmination and celebration of the year-long season.
Played August 9-10 on the Fazio Course at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, the limited field (44 total players) will consist of TJGT Elite Series champions from the 2017-2018 season, as well as runner-ups from the five Callaway Elite Championship events to be played this summer (see release below). Alternates will be selected for invitations based on multiple factors, such as prior performance and rankings.
“We are excited to announce the inaugural Elites Cup,” said Travis Measley, TJGT Executive Director. “Not only is it a great opportunity to showcase an extremely strong field of the best the state has to offer, but also a chance to celebrate the successes each of these players has had on and off the golf course. We look forward to the Elites Cup becoming the premier event on the TJGT schedule.”
There will be no entry fee for participants in The Elites Cup, and invitations will be presented to winners at each Elite Series event this summer (or sent via mail and e-mail to winners of prior Elite Series events this season).
