Randy Morris

Currently the head coach of the men’s and women’s golf teams at Lake Travis High School. Randy has been involved in public education for 25 years. He has been coaching golf for 21 years from 1986 to present. While at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio he took the boys golf team to the 5A State tournament in 2000. He followed that up with both the boys and girls teams advancing to the 5A State tournament in 2001.

Since taking the job at Lake Travis in 2002 his boys teams have been to the 4A State tournament in 2004, 2005 and 2007 finishing as runner-up in 2003 and finishing 3rd in 2007. One of his players, Adam Wennerstrom, finished as the 4A State Medalist in 2007.

His Lake Travis girl’s teams have been to the 4A State tournament the last 4 years; 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, finishing 3rd in both 2005 and 2006.
For the past 8 years, Randy has spent his summers working with the STPGA as an official with the Junior Tour in the San Antonio area.
He resides at Canyon Lake where he lives with his wife of 23 years, Anne and his three children; Stephanie, Becca, and Aaron.
