We are happy to announce the recipients of the 2025 Avid Junior Golf Initiative College Scholarship! Each of these recipients exemplified the qualities of integrity, honor, hard word, selflessness and success both on and off the golf course. We are proud to award each a $2,000 college scholarship.
TRINITY BOSLEY
FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS
Trinity Bosley is a graduate of Friendswood High School in the Houston area, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and a 1520 on the SAT. Trinity was a 4-year letter winner on the varsity golf team (and 3X UIL 5A State Qualifier) and participated in Varsity Choir, the National Honor Society, Link Crew (mentoring incoming high school freshmen) and other school activities. In the fall she will be attending Princeton University.
BRADY MANN
BRIDGEPORT, TEXAS
Brady Mann is a graduate of Bridgeport High School, playing on the varsity basketball team and the varsity golf team in school. Brady helped lead his high school golf team to multiple district championships and UIL State Tournament appearances, including capturing the 4A State Championship in 2024. Brady also served as his Senior Class Vice President, was a member of 4H, FFA, FCA, the National Honor Society and other organizations. as well as a member of the National Honor Society. Mann will be attending Abilene Christian University in the fall and a member of the golf team.
GRACE HALL
AUSTIN, TEXAS
Grace Hall is a graduate of Lake Travis High School, where she graduated with a 3.7 GPA and played on the varsity golf team. Grace participated in the National Honor Society and National Charity League, and served as the Kindergarten coordinator for her local church. She also volunteered with the First Tee of Austin and worked the annual childrens’ golf camp at Spanish Oaks GC. In the fall, Grace will attend University of Central Oklahoma as a member of the golf team.
TRISTAN FRANTZ
BOERNE, TEXAS
Tristan Frantz is a graduate of Samuel V. Champion High School with a 104.2 GPA and a 1400 on the SAT. Tristan was a member of the Champion Varsity Golf Team, earning two 2nd-Team All District Honors and was a 3-time Academic All District team member. He participated in the Boerne Buddies program throughout high school and was a member of various volunteer organizations in and around the city. Tristan will attend Texas A&M University in the fall and hopes to work in pharmacology, specifically working in drug research, upon graduation.
