[IRVING, TX | DEC 13] The Texas Junior Golf Tour has announced the opening of its 2019 winter/spring calendar, with 14 tournaments on the books across the state currently open for registration to all TJGT members.

The capstone of the winter schedule is the annual TJGT Tour Championship, played once again at the fantastic Horseshoe Bay Resort in central Texas. This year, the girls and younger boys divisions will get to experience the newly renovated and reshaped Ram Rock course at the resort, which reopened earlier this year after an extensive facelift. Apple Rock, the normal site for the girls and younger boys divisions, is currently closed itself for renovations. The older boys division championship will once again be decided on Slick Rock.
The schedule once again features five strong tournaments during Spring Break, with the annual Traditions Spring Invitational – once again hosted at Traditions Club in Bryan/College Station – moving back one week to the end of Spring Break to further accommodate busy schedules and the high demand for entry. The Spring Schedule will end as it has for years at historic Brackenridge Park in San Antonio for the annual Texas Masters/IMG World Qualifier over Memorial Day Weekend, one of the most competitive 54-hole junior events in the region each year.
“We are excited for another great year on the TJGT,” said Travis Measley, TJGT Executive Director. “We look forward to returning to some great venues and having the opportunity to witness some spectacular golf.”
The summer schedule will be release during the early part of 2019. To view the full Winter/Spring schedule, visit tournaments.tjgt.com
