TJGT SET FOR STRONG SHOWING AT USGA’S BOYS/GIRLS US JUNIOR
Several TJGT/iAlliance members are set to join the 2007 winner and runner-up of the USGA Boys Junior, Cory Whitsett and Anthony Paolucci at this year’s competition which will be held July 21st-26th and Shoal Creek in Birmingham, Alabama.
Over 30 TJGT/iAlliance members either qualified directly for the 150-player event or were named alternates after 36-hole qualifying tournaments were held over the past few weeks all over the US.
This is just another testament to the quality of play found on the TJGT week-in and week-out is above any other and why the TJGT has drawn over 100 college coaches to events the past two years. TJGT players consistently have strong showings and national competitions every year.
Landon Tujague led the way qualifying on the same golf course the NCAA’s were played at just a little over three weeks ago. Landon recently made a verbal commitment to play for the University of Arkansas who made a great move in snatching him up early.
In addition to Landon, several other players will be teeing it up at Shoal Creek and the TJGT wants to say congratulations to the following players:
