TJGT Announces Spring & Summer Schedule
As a result of member demand & high school coach input, TJGT will add more tournament opportunities & replace existing events to new and exciting venues. these opportunities will give numerous members who signed up late in the season more opportunities to earn AJGA PBE & play in the Elite Golfweek ranked events. these tournaments will be scheduled respectfully around high school golf schedules & iAlliance partner tournaments such as the Starburst Jr. Classic, Texas-Oklahoma Jr, TX Jr. Masters, TX-Mexico Cup & others.
These tournaments will offer great opportunities for members to minimize their travel expenses while maximizing the playing opportunities during the spring & summer schedule. TJGT believes no family should have to travel to another coast or even out of the regional environment when they have the opportunity to play for AJGA PBE & Golfweek rankings & sleep in their own beds a majority of the time. TJGT tournaments & iAlliance partners offer cost effective opportunities to supplement your AJGA schedule.
Finally, TJGT announces with the city of Tyler, Texas another Elite Invitational to be held at Eagles Bluff, CC. May 17/18th this invitational will feature multiple AJGA PBE, no cost food for players & parents, exceptional tee gifts from Nike Golf while at an exceptional venue. The city of Tyler & Tyler’s Chamber of Commerce are extremely excited to host the first Golfweek ranked tournament in Tylers’ Jr. Golf history. The entire city & business community will welcome TJGT players & families with open arms in May. The tournament will be conducted just after the Texas High School State Championships and the sub-plot will be: find out the real state champion from Class 1A to 5A. All out of state high school standouts are encourage to apply.

Keep posted to TJGT.com for upcoming new & exciting announcements for the TJGT 2008/09 Season. the new season will start Aug. 2008 at the PGA Tour’s Shell Houston Open Tournament course at Redstone Golf Club. TJGT & Houston Golf Assoc. (HGA) will host a Jr. AM fundraiser on the tournament course with unbelievable tour gifts.
Registration is open for the following tournaments under your present 2007/08 membership. The 2008/09 season membership will open nlt June 1st.
