The TJGT Whitworth Mixed Team Championship
The TJGT Whitworth Mixed Team Championship was played Monday August 9-10, 2010 on the Whitworth Course at Trophy Club Country Club. In this special male/female mixed team format the Boys played 6,761 yards and the Girls played 5,767 yards.
This 36-hole event scored this way: “Low ball” the first day and “select shot” the
second day.
On day one the players teed off at 8am and it was already hot! On day two they started at 10am and you guessed it, it was even hotter! The kids were in carts for all 36-holes so it made the heat bearable and made the event even that much more fun.
First round Recap: Talia Champbell and Michael Culin opened up with a 62 low
ball (10 under par). Wowza!!!! Elisabeth Rau and Major Monzingo
challenged the 10 under with a 67 (5 under).

econd round highlights were Maggie Neece, William Zalatoris team and
McKenzie Ralston, Andrew Johnson team both shooting low rounds of 63 on
the final day (select shot).
