The first round of the Cowboys Golf Club Jr. Classic was played Monday July 14th at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, Texas with 31 girls and 77 boys teeing it up in this 36-hole, nationally-ranked event.
The award-winning Cowboys Golf Club is the premier resort-style, daily-fee golf course in Texas. As the world’s first NFL-themed golf course, this is the ultimate destination for business entertainment, corporate tournaments, executive meetings and special events.
The course was in pristine condition and proved to be quite the test. The boys 16-18 played 7,017 yards, the boys 12-15 played 6,563 yards, and all girls played 6,182 yards. The weather was sunny and hot, typical Texas in July.
