For Ladies Only…The Future Collegiate Girls Championship

The Future Collegiate Girls Championship was played September 19-20, 2009 at Trophy Club Country Club on the Whitworth course.
With a majority of the top boys in the state (over 250) playing in the largest high school tournament in the country, the Bart Granger, the TJGT did a little something special for the ladies only.
The course was still very wet from all of the previous rain and this made the 5,810 yards the girls played play even longer but they all hung tough!
The weather was perfect for both days of the tournament. The girls seemed to really enjoy having carts for this long course and it made the
round flow very smoothly. Here’s how things ended up in this 36-hole, nationally-ranked event:
