The Bear Creek Junior Shootout was played August 22-23, 2009 at the Bear Creek Golf Club on the West Course. Players from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma teed it up in sunny and hot weather with the Boys 16-18 playing 6,690 yards; the Boys 12-15 playing 6,264 yards; and all Girls 12-18 playing 5,570 yards in this 36-hole nationally-ranked event.
This was the last event in the DFW Metroplex before everyone start school and was a great end to the summer.
