TJGT & Elite Mini-Tour Policies & Waivers
These polices apply to membership & tournament operations. Each registered member agrees to abide by the following policies or risk losing their membership privileges.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY TO MAXIMIZE YOUR TOURNAMENT EXPERIENCE & MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
All policies listed below apply to all TJGT & Elite Mini-Tour Members. If questions arise, please review the FAQ section before calling or emailing. If your question is still not answered feel free to email TJGT.

Tournament Refund/Withdraw Policy: Two Categories
1. INVITATIONAL/MAJOR/HOLIDAY CLASSIC REFUND POLICY
Once a player has registered online there are no refunds.An automatic email is sent at time of registration listing all Withdraw & Refund Policies. Due to the extensive planning for invitational events (banquet, food & beverage, speaker, tour gifts, etc.), the tour must fulfill the contractual obligations to the course/venue. TJGT cannot stress enough to review your school/personal schedule before making online registration into any major/invitational/holiday classic. Once again, any cancellation once online registered is NON-REFUNDABLE. There is no transfer of the tournament fee to a future event.
Tournaments that apply is any tournament listed as a Major, Invitational or Holiday Classic with *** on the 2010-11 schedule page. It is very important to review the schedule page to ensure each member is aware of the status of each tournament and which refund policy applies. Any Elite-Mini Tour Event in conjunction with a TJGT major/invitational/ holiday classic will have the same non-refundable policy. TJGT reserves the right to designate any tournament a major/invitational or holiday classic. They will always be labeled with *** on the schedule via TJGT.com.

2. NON-INVITATIONAL/NORMAL EVENT OR ELITE MINI-TOUR TOURNAMENT REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:
In an effort to streamline communication & coordination of cancellations, TJGT has enhanced the “BlueGolf” tournament software to provide parents/players the ability to cancel any tournament online by themselves. This will allow the TJGT to track and process cancellations & parents/players the convenience of cancelling online at their leisure. The Cancellation Fee is $60 for any Non-Invitational/Major/Holiday Tournament not designated with *** on the schedule page. To cancel a tournament online: 1. Log into your players club account with ID & Password. 2. Click on Tournaments Icon. 3. Find the tournaments you are registered and Click on the Cancel Icon. 4. The software will walk you thru the process and immediately initiate a refund to your credit card on file that was used for membership less the $60 cancellation fee. If you cannot accomplish online, email TJGT via the contact us page. TJGT must received electronic notification of any cancellation. Phone message will not be valid. Remember, primary communication is via email so TJGT has a record of your cancellation request.
Cancellation 72 hours before Tournament Start Time: Cancellations must be completed before 72 hours of tournament start time. All tournament start times for this policy are 7 AM, CST. Therefore, cancellations done online before 72 hours will be automatically refunded less the $60 cancellation fee. Refunds will be credited to the credit card on file in membership profile.
Cancellation within 72 hours of Tournament Start Time: There are no refunds for the tournament fee within 72 hours of start time. (7 AM CST). If you cancel online, please email TJGT so other players on the waiting list will be allowed to play. Please email either the tournament director, Coach Monzingo or Dave Jones of your cancellation. ONCE AGAIN: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS for any withdrawals within 72 hours of tournament start time. This policy is in effect due to the contractual obligations TJGT has with host venues scheduled months in advance. Every TJGT venue requires a guaranteed number of players a minimum of 72 hours before tournament start and many times 96 hours before. In order to continue obtaining quality venues, TJGT must honor & respect the venue policies. TJGT venues do not close the entire course down on weekends for TJGT tournaments as golf courses schedule other tournaments and premium play around the number of players given to each course a minimum of 72 hours prior to start times.
Weather Cancellation Policy: A tournament that completes nine holes by all players is deemed a completed tournament. Therefore, no refund. Rankings are at the discretion of the individual ranking system guidelines: Golfweek, Jr. Golf Scoreboard and AJGA for PBE awards. TJGT will make every effort to complete a minimum of 9 holes placing a priority on safety first. Players will receive all tee gifts if nine holes are completed.
If a tournament does not complete nine holes, players will be offered to transfer the tournament fee to a future tournament within the current season, less a $60 administration/e-commerce fee. There are no complete refunds in a total weather cancellation. In unusual circumstances where TJGT has incurred cost leading up to a complete cancellation, TJGT has the right to recapture expenditures in addition to the $60 administration/e-commerce fee.
Cancellation other than weather: TJGT will make every effort to reschedule the event and designate on the schedule which event will take the place of the original event. TJGT will make every effort to re-schedule at the same venue if venue conditions/contracts permit. If the event is re-scheduled, players will be offered the opportunity to play with no additional charge or withdraw less a $60 admin fee. Tee gifts will be forfeited if a player does not play in the re-scheduled event. TJGT reserves the right to cancel any tournament due to circumstances out of its control, Act of God/nature or national emergency deemed by any local, State or Federal Government agency.
Non-Member Policy
A player who has not registered online for membership and desires to participate in any TJGT event is considered a non-member. If a player wants to play as a non-member, he/she should contact Coach Monzingo or Dave Jones for instructions on tournament registration. Non-members are subject to an additional $50 fee per tournament and not eligible for membership gifts. They will receive tournament tee gifts. Examples of non-members are competitors who play only one invitational or players from out of state/country who want to play in the Thanksgiving or Holiday Classics. TJGT welcomes out of state players and is happy to extend this non-member policy. Early notification of your desire to play is appreciated and expedites the process. TJGT will make every effort to fulfill your desire to play and accommodate your entry process around your travel plans to minimize your costs & logistical plans. Please take note TJGT does offer a mid-season & summer membership options for $85 & $50.
Alternates/Waiting List Policy
In the event of a tournament being over-booked, the order of alternate players will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis provided a player provides email notification of their desire to play. If a tournament is full, you must email TJGT to be put on a waiting list. TJGT staff will inform each player if a spot opens. Please make sure your contact info is updated in your personal membership profile.
Awards Ceremonies/Playoffs (TJGT & Elite Mini-Tour)
Awards will be given to the top finishers in each age division. The trophy presentation will take place at the scoreboard immediately following the conclusion of any tournament. Any ties for first, second or third place will be decided by a “sudden death” playoff. Non-participation in any sudden death playoff will result in the player being awarded the lower place of finish. Please don’t leave the scoring area if you think you will be in a playoff for the top three places.
The tournament director does have the authority to determine all playoffs via scorecard playoff if weather conditions or course availability will prevent or limit a completed sudden death playoff. If a scorecard playoff is instituted, then the playoff will start from the lowest handicap hole for that day of play and work upward until a tie is broken. TJGT will make every effort to conduct “sudden death” playoffs but sometimes circumstances dictate a scorecard playoff.

Annual All Tour Team Award Selections
TJGT will select & present All-Tour Teams at the Tour Championship Show following the first day of play @ the Tour Championship conducted at Horseshoe Bay Resort in February 2011. These teams are elite teams and prestigious awards as 95% of All-Tour Team members have gone on to receive collegiate golf scholarships. The Top Five & ties point leaders for all tournaments BEFORE the Tour Championship will be awarded to the All-Tour Teams. The previous year tour championship tournament points will count towards the All Tour Team for the new season as well as any points earned after the championship. For example: the 2010-11 All Tour Team will consist of all points from the 2009-10 Tour Championship, and all tournaments played until the 2010-11 Tour Championship conducted in February 2011. Players will receive special recognition and awards at the very special tour championship awards show. Players selected will be contacted by TJGT and must make every effort to be present to receive the award. TJGT will select a Player of the Year in each age division as well as the Elite Mini-Tour. This player will be the top point leader in each age division.

Elite Mini-Tour Caddie Rules
Caddies are allowed for all age divisions 8-9, 10-11, 12-13. All players are allowed one caddy and are the only person who may give advice to the player. The caddie may be anyone 11 yrs & older designated by the player. (Adults or High School Players are preferred as caddies) Players are responsible for the actions of the caddies. Caddies must comply with all TJGT conduct & pace of play policies. A player may share a caddy provided the tournament director deems pace of play will not suffer. Caddies are allowed to rent a spectator cart or use a “push cart” if course permitted. Players must walk at all times unless directed by a TJGT staff to ride between holes or spectator carts with caddies used to shuttle players on long walks etc. The intent is to have the player walk during the round of golf.
A caddy may share an electric/motorized riding cart with another caddy in the same group. Spectators may ride in a caddy cart provided the spectator does not offer any advice or slow the pace of play. Caddies are only permitted on the Elite Mini-Tour.
PULL CARTS POLICY
TJGT’s policy is to mirror the AJGA policy on pull carts.
Pull Carts are allowed for all age divisions provided the host course permits.
All players/parents are advised to check with each individual course. The ultimate responsibility resides with the player.
Medical Condition: Any player, in any age division, may use a pull cart due to a valid medical condition provided the host venue allows the pull cart.
Elite Mini-Tour: Pull carts are allowed for all age divisions providing the host venue allows pull carts. Caddies are allowed in all age divisions and may use pull carts.
TJGT Staff emphasizes safety when a player is being shuttled and pulling a pull cart. It is recommended to “fold up” the pull cart and place in the shuttle to prevent potential injury.
TJGT will not incur liability or responsibility for the damage to any pull cart or player as a result of pulling a pull cart when being shuttled.
Code of Conduct
a. The TJGT prides itself in the quality of players, host facilities and community involvement at each of its events. In order to continue making our events enjoyable for everyone, the TJGT requires all of its members to adhere to a set of guidelines known as the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct helps to ensure that our players grow and mature by understanding and accepting the consequences of their actions as they participate in our events and visit the host facility and its city. The Code of Conduct is to be followed throughout the junior’s stay at the tournament and host city.
b. Violations of the Code of Conduct include: unsportsmanlike conduct (including abusive language, cheating, club throwing, disrespect to volunteers, officials or fellow competitors or abuse of golf course property); not adhering to the dress code of the host golf course; use or association with drugs or alcohol, smoking or chewing tobacco products; vandalism at host hotel, abusive behavior to any competitor’s family and/or property; and conduct not becoming of a TJGT player, such as acting in anger or creating other distractions.
c. Code of Conduct Violation Penalties: Any Code of Conduct violation will result in a letter written to the player and/or his/her parent/guardian. The TJGT tournament committee may enforce any or all of the following penalties based on the severity and frequency of the violation(s): a two-stroke penalty for each act of unsportsmanlike conduct on the golf course, immediate disqualification from the tournament at which the violation occurs and/or a tournament disqualification that may result in disqualification from the next tournament(s) for which a player has been accepted. The TJGT reserves the right to suspend or revoke a player’s membership for a major breach of the TJGT Code of Conduct. Violation of the TJGT Code of Conduct may affect a player’s eligibility for invitational events and post-season honors.
Dress Code
a. Required dress at the golf course: Hats/visors must be worn with brim forward. Collared shirts or mock turtlenecks (host golf course permitting) must be worn and tucked-in at all times. Women’s fashion shirts without collars must have long sleeves. Women’s fashion shirts must not rise above the belt line at anytime during the golf swing. Women’s shorts must be no more than five inches above the knee or the inseam of the shorts must measure at least five inches. All TJGT events require players to wear Soft Spike® golf shoes or other golf course appropriate footwear.
b. Prohibited dress at the golf course: tank tops, T-shirts, denim shorts, short-shorts, cut-off shorts, gym shorts and jeans. Earrings (for males), body piercings and tattoos must be covered.
Eligibility: Junior Golfer Defined by the USGA
A “junior golfer ” is an amateur golfer who has not reached (i) the September 1 following graduation from secondary school or (ii) his 19th birthday, whichever comes first.
Age Divisions: Divisions for non-invitationals for both boys and girls are 12-15 and 16-18. All majors/invitational are one division: 12-18 Elite Mini-Tour age divisions are 8-9, 10-11, 12-13.
A player whose birthday falls at the start of the tournament can play in age division he/she registered for membership. For example, a player who registers for the 10-11 division turns 12 on the day of the tournament; he/she may play that tournament in the 10-11 if they are already registered but all future tournaments will be played in the correct age division. Please keep TJGT advised of changing age divisions. All points earned in the previous age division will not be transferred into the new age division. A player who earned points in the 10-11 division must start over earning points when moving up an age division.
Playing UP into a Division
A player may play up into a division if approved by TJGT staff. Email TJGT if you desire to play- up. Any points accumulated in another division will not be counted for player of the year/All-Tour teams. ie. The player will only accumulate points for any award in the individual division he/she participates. Invitationals/Majors award points based on overall finish since the age division is 12-18.
Invitationals
All invitationals are one age group: 12-18. Due to Golfweek rankings and AJGA PBE awards these tournaments are treated the same as an AJGA Open event. A 13 yr. old player is eligible for the same AJGA PBE as an 18 yr old player in the field. All points earned in an invitational towards All-Tour & Player of the Year awards will be determined by the overall finish in the tournament. Example: If a 12-15 player finishes overall 10th but is the top finisher of the 12-15 players in the field, he/she does not earn first place points for All-Tour/Player of the Year awards at the Tour Championship.

Entry Fees
A two-day tournament entry fee is $199. Elite Mini-Tour Events are priced between $150 -190 depending on course venue. The Thanksgiving Classic at Horseshoe Bay Resort @ Redstone Jr. Classic is $255. The three-day Holiday Classic at Barton Creek is $299. Invitational/Major events are prices @ $299. All tournament fees are subject to change and posted on online registration. All efforts will be made to keep tournament fees affordable depending on golf course availability. Please remember, TJGT plays the majority of the events at prime venues during the weekend when maximum revenue for the course is scheduled.
Etiquette
All tour members are expected to display proper golf etiquette and knowledge of the rules of golf at all times during tournament play. Appropriate behavior at all host facilities and lodging sites is required.
Hotel Information
All hotel information will be provided on its respective tournament information page. When making hotel reservations, please identify yourself as a participant in the TJGT tournament to secure the discounted room rate. Cancellations are subject to the hotel or resort policies. TJGT has no control over cancellation or refunds of lodging. Reservations must be made on or before any cut-off date. TJGT always asks the property to honor the rate for members after the deadline as well but cannot promise the discounted rates.
Pace of Play
The TJGT tournament committee will set the pace of play to expected rounds equal to or less than but not exceeding 4 hours and 30 minutes, 15 minute maximum per hole. Each player has 45 seconds once they initially arrive at their ball to play the shot. See TJGT “RULES HARD CARD.” If the tournament committee warns a group for being “out of position,” the group has no more than three holes to resume proper position. If the “out of position” situation persists, a stroke penalty may be incurred for failure to reach proper position. Gross negligence of the pace of play may result in a disqualification. The TJGT tournament committee will, at its discretion, take into account any time-altering factors such as host course problems, weather conditions and any unforeseeable time obstacles. The tournament committee consists of the tournament director, Asst. Tournament Director, TJGT VP or President if present, any TJGT Board of Director, or host venue Head Professional if so designated by tournament director.
Player Travel, Lodging and Meals
Tour players will be responsible for their own travel, lodging, meals and any other expenses not directly covered by tour membership and tournament fees. For tour to remain successful, the TJGT strongly recommends that its members support the tour sponsors, resorts and lodging. As a benefit, the tour has secured extremely low lodging rates at all tournament sites.
Non Invitational & Elite Mini-tour Entry Priority
a. Entry priority will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis via online registration on TJGT.com. A full field shall be considered 96 players per tournament course depending on course availability/time limitations. Elite Mini-tour number of players will range from 20-40 players depending on tee time availability. Some tournaments may have multiple courses. Players unable to register normally will be placed on the alternate list. Any iAlliance exempt player must comply with 20 calendar days notice for entry.
Holiday Event fieldswill be open registration, except slots will be reserved for iAlliance exemption holders and international players such as the Mexican Junior Golf Association. The TJGT will do everything possible to maximize the size of the field combined with AJGA pace of play standards and Golfweek requirements. Some tournaments may have multiple courses, therefore allowing larger fields (i.e., Horseshoe Bay Resort & Barton Creek Resort.) Order of entry for Holiday Classics will be the following: iAlliance exemption holders, top-ranked AJGA and Golfweek-ranked players and open registration. For example, the Holiday Event at Barton Creek will be filled with iAlliance exemption holders, international players and then open registration. Players are encouraged to register via the website early, as these fields fill up fast. There is always a waiting list for TJGT Invitationals/Majors/Holiday Classic Venues.

Rules/Shot Limits
USGA Rules of Golf will govern all tournament play. Local rules will be distributed at registration. TJGT utilizes the local scorecard to ensure all local rules are visible to all players. TJGT rules, “hard card” and spectator policies are always posted on the tournament information page. There are NO shot limits for any TJGT Event.
Elite Mini-Tour Shot Limits: There are not shot limits in the 10-11, 12-13 age divisions. Age division 8-9 will have shot limitations depending on the individual course and determined by the tournament director. If a shot limit is imposed in this age division it will be 8 for par 3’s and 10 for par 4’s & par 5’s. The player must pick up his/her ball after the 7th or 9th shot respectively. Any shot limited tournament for the 8-9 age division will not be ranked by Jr. Golf Scoreboard due to ranking requirements. The tournament director is deemed the committee and can adjust the shot limits for factors such as weather, course difficulty etc. See www.njgs.com for ranking guidelines.
Spectators’ Carts
Spectators will be allowed to rent carts but must follow the published policies of the host club. Host course information will be published on its respective tournament page. The host course controls all spectator cart rental costs. TJGT always requests the course keep their prices to minimum for junior golf parents.
Staff
The TJGT operates with individuals who are dedicated to providing the highest quality tour and tournaments possible. The tournaments will be run by experienced high school golf coaches, current and former collegiate players, former college coaches and USGA-certified officials.
Tournament Acceptance Notice
Parents will receive a tournament entry confirmation after online entry and payment confirmation at the email address provided during membership registration. Please note that the WD/Refund policies are also listed on each tournament registration payment confirmation email response. All fields will be posted on the official TJGT website atwww.tjgt.com.
Tournament Check-In
Tournament check-in will run from approximately 1.5 hours before the first tee time. All players must check-in prior to tournament play. More details regarding the registration procedure may be posted on each tournament info page by a case-specific need. If a player does not check-in, any and all tournament gifts shall be forfeited.
Tournament Entry Conditions
The TJGT reserves the right to deny any entry at any time.
Tournament Information
Start times, pairings and tee times will be posted on the website. Every effort will be made to post tee times no less than 48 hours prior to start of play. Always check the website the night before for any last minute changes due to late withdrawals. Parents and players will be responsible for finding start times, tee times and tournament information. This information can be found on each tournament information page link on the schedule page.
Tournament Withdrawal During Event
Once play has begun at any TJGT event, all players wishing to withdraw must report first to either the tournament director, TJGT Vice-President or TJGT President present before leaving the golf course. The player and/or his/her pairing competitors will be interviewed on the subject of the withdrawing player’s health, illness, injury and general physical condition during the event. Based on the information gathered, the withdrawal will be categorized in one of two ways: justified withdrawal, or unjustified withdrawal. Unjustified withdrawals will be subject to a disqualification (6-3a). Results will be reported to Golfweek & JGS per their WD policy. All WD’s are handled in accordance with AJGA Standards.
Scoring Requirements/Cut Policy
The TJGT does have a cut policy at every tournament to guard against slow play. Any player who is not keeping up with the pace of play requirements may be removed from the tournament by TJGT Staff/tournament director. Cut Policy Scoring Requirements: All Boys: 92 or better, All Girls: 94 or better. Any player cut will only apply for that tournament only. The player will have the opportunity to play in another tournament. TJGT realizes players have “bad scoring days” and allows a player to participate in future tournaments. TJGT Staff reserves the right to inform a player he/she is not ready for TJGT competition and restrict any future tournaments.
Elite Mini-Tour Scoring Requirements/Cut Policy
The mini tour is designed for the average, above average to excellent skilled younger golfer who can consistently score better than 94 Boys & 96 Girls on 18 holes for the appropriate yardages with caddy assistance. The above cut policy is in effect for Elite Mini-Tour events unless waived by tournament director. Any player who cannot keep up with pace of play will be removed from the field and evaluated for future tournaments. TJGT will exercise this only in rare occasions but will protect the field from players who should be in developmental tours/organizations.
TJGT STAFF WILL EXERCISE JUDGEMENT & SENSITIVITY TOWARDS ALL PLAYERS/PARENTS IF A JUNIOR IS CUT FROM A TOURNAMENT FOR SCORING MINIMUMS OR PACE OF PLAY STANDARDS. EVERY OPPORTUNITY WILL BE MADE TO ALLOW THE PLAYER TO PERFORM TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY AND PARTICIPATE IN THE CURRENT AND FUTURE EVENTS. IF A PLAYER IS CUT FROM THE FIELD, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR THE TOURNAMENT. THE PLAYER IF CUT, IS WELCOME TO PLAY ANY FUTURE EVENTS UNLESS THE JUDGEMENT OF THE TJGT TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR/STAFF IS THE PLAYER IS NOT READY TO PLAY THE ELITE-MINI TOUR AND NEEDS MORE EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPMENTAL JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAMS.
Rankings & AJGA PBE Awards: All AJGA Exemptions & Stars as well as any Golfweek & Jr. Golf Scoreboard rankings will be listed on each individual tournament page. All TJGT events contain multiple levels of AJGA Performance Based Entry and all tournaments are ranked by Jr. Golf Scoreboard.

Tournaments ranked by Golfweek are elite tournaments that require strict adherence to Golfweek rankings criteria. All TJGT Invitationals and Holiday Classics as well as selected normal tournaments are Golfweek ranked. See www. Golfweek.com for these criteria.
Elite Mini-Tour Event Rankings: All mini-tour events will be ranked by Jr. Golf Scoreboard provided the host course yardages can be met for pace of play standards. TJGT will make every effort to have every tournament ranked for the 10-11, 12-13 age divisions. Age 8-9 division will be on a case by case basis due to possible shot limit considerations and minimum yardage requirements. Tournament directors will make every effort to comply with the rankings requirement for the 8-9 division but pace of play and overall tournament experience will take precedence over rankings for this division.
There are no shot limits for the 10-11 & 12-13 age divisions to meet the Jr. Golf Scoreboard ranking requirements. If there is a shot limit imposed for the 8-9 division, the tournament will not be submitted to Jr. Golf Scoreboard due to the shot limit rankings limitation.
Food, Drink, Clothing: Any parent or spectator may provide food, drink, clothing, umbrellas, hand warmers etc. to players during the round of play provided it does not slow down pace of play or distract other competitors play. TJGT recommends this to be done between holes from green to tee box or during the turn. TJGT highly recommends bringing extra clothes; rain suits gloves and umbrellas to each tournament. Weather conditions can change quickly and the better you are prepared, the better chance for success while avoiding unnecessary costs for these items at the tournament venue or last minute trips to the shopping mall.
2010-11 Season Membership & Tournament Participant Agreement & Acknowledgement
a. I understand and acknowledge a release, waiver and hold harmless agreement that at all times my son and/or daughter is a participant in the 2010-11 program of the Texas Junior Golf Tour, Inc. My son and/or daughter is not an employee of the Texas Junior Golf Tour, Inc., herein referred to as TJGT. My son and/or daughter, as well as myself, shall rely on my personal health and liability insurance in the event that my son and/or daughter or myself sustains any injuries or damages incident to the participation in any and all 2010-11TJGT events. (2010-11 Season: Sept 1st, 2010- Aug, 31st, 2011.)
b. Pursuant to my son and/or daughter’s participation in the 2010-2011 TJGT program, I recognize that there are certain risks and possible bodily or personal injuries and damages that one may sustain through participation, including but not limited to the following:
- Being struck by a golf club or misdirected golf club
- Being struck by a golf cart or other vehicle
- Injuries arising from sports, physical exertion or outside activities
- Falls due to terrain or imperfect surfaces
- Injuries due to weather conditions such as lighting, heat, cold and/or rain
- Any other injuries or damages sustained while acting as a volunteer
c. I HEREBY ASSUME ALL RISKS and dangers on behalf of my son and/or daughter’s participation in the 2010-11 TJGT program and hereby release, waive and hold harmless on behalf of myself and my son and/or daughter and those claiming by, or under us, the TJGT from all claims, damages or causes of action that I or my son and/or daughter may have now or hereafter against the above identified parties and their officers, directors, members, agents, representatives or employees, arising out of any bodily or personal injuries or damages my son and/or daughter and myself may sustain in connection with my participation and my son and/or daughter’s participation with the TJGT 2010-11 program, including any bodily or personal injuries or damages caused or alleged to be caused all or in part by myself and my son and/or daughter or any other participant or volunteer, OR THE ACTIONS, FAILURE TO ACT OR NEGLIGENCE OF the TJGT, and their officers, directors, members, agents, representatives and employees.
d. This acknowledgement, release, waiver and hold harmless agreement shall be binding upon me and my son and/or daughter and our heirs, assigns and legal or personal representatives.

Publications, Video, Internet Consent and Release Agreement
a. Players who attend events in the TJGT season will occasionally be a part of TJGT publicity, publications and/or public relations activities. In order to guarantee player privacy and ensure your agreement for your son and/or daughter to participate, the TJGT asks that the parent and player agree to this release agreement in the act of registering for the current season. The agreement below indicates approval for the player’s name, picture, art, written work, voice, verbal statements or portraits (video or still) to appear in TJGT publications or on the TJGT website. For example, pictures and articles about TJGT activities may appear in local, regional and/or national newspapers or publications. These pictures and articles may or may not personally identify the player. The pictures and/or videos may be used by TJGT in subsequent years.
Agreement: Player and parent/guardian release to TJGT the player’s name, picture, art, written work, voice, verbal statements and/or portraits (video or still) and consent to their use by TJGT. TJGT agrees that the player’s name, picture, art, written work, voice, verbal statements and/or portraits (video or still) shall only be used for public relations, public information, TJGT promotion, publicity and instruction. Player and parent/guardian understand and agree that: no monetary consideration shall be paid; consent and release have been given without coercion or duress; this agreement is binding upon heirs and/or future legal representatives; the photo, video or player statements may be used in subsequent years. If the player and parent/guardian wish to rescind this agreement they may do so at any time with written notice. Effective date of agreement shall be the date of the first event for the 2010-11 season. (Sept.1st, 2010) TJGT has no control of media use of pictures/statements that are taken without permission.
