Let’s face it. The collegiate golf recruiting process can be a daunting and confusing task to navigate alone. Anyone can find the answers to generic questions such as,“When can a college coach contact me in person off- campus?”* However, many of the questions that junior golfers ask don’t have generic answers. For example, the answer to the BIG question,“How do I get a golf scholarship?,” differs greatly from individual to individual. As parents and former coaches of collegiate golfers, the Texas Junior Golf Tour understands the roller coaster ride involved in the recruiting process and has a proven record of success in obtaining scholarships for their senior class - boys (85%) and girls (92%). Our College Bound Membership program is the best way to find YOUR answers.

Also to help give you a taste of what the CBM program has to offer we are inviting EVERYONE including non-CBM members to participate next Tuesday in our next CBM webinar. Our special guest will be Dean W. Frischknecht creator of The PING American College Golf Guide. The webinar starts at 8pm CST and will last approximately 40-minutes. There are a limited number of spots available.
The PING American College Golf Guide was written and first published in 1989 by Dean W. Frischknecht, a former scholarship golfer at Oregon State University. He has been a long-time business owner in Oregon, served two Oregon Governors on a State Board and wrote consumer law for the State of Oregon. Frischknecht maintained close ties with college golf and junior golf, and he wrote the Guide to give young players and parents information on college and competitive opportunities at all levels and at all institutions, large and small, famous and little-known. His thinking is that if kids enjoyed playing high school and junior golf, why not include college golf in their overall education experience while pursuing that all-important degree.
