The TJGT Future Collegiate Girls Championship at Trophy Club Country Club was played September 18th-19th 2010 on the Whitworth Course at, you guessed it, Trophy Club Country Club. With a majority of the TJGT boys playing in the largest high school golf tournament in the country, The Bart Granger Invitational, the TJGT did a “ladies only” event. It was a great event in every aspect with perfect weather, an incredible course, and lots of great golf. Girls from Texas and Louisiana teed up in this 36-hole, nationally-ranked event that had all girls 12-18 playing a collegiate yardage of 5,750 yards. All players in the field were allowed to ride in carts, served lunch both days, and received a TGJT golf shirt along with a special electronic gift.
The course was in great condition…special thanks to Trophy Club CC and Director of Golf Matt Beroth for a job well done.
