The Elite Mini-Tour Capital City Classic was played on The Hills of Lakeway Yaupon Course in Austin, Texas September 27th & 28th 2008. This 36-hole, nationally-ranked event saw some of the top young players in the State tee it up in near-perfect weather.

On to the action:
Daniel Martinez came back to fire final round one-under 71 to claim back-to-back-to-back titles on the Elite Mini Tour; This was a hotly contested division that saw some great play from Reese Ramsey, Garrett Leak, and PJ Schmitz.
Charles Kim and Tobin Niblett went head-to-head in the final round with Kim edging Niblett by a single stroke. Connor Caldwell had a great final round to finish 3rd.
