The Capital City Classic was played September 26-27, 2008 at Yaupon Course in Austin, Texas. Beautiful weather greeted all 62 players that played in this 36-hole nationally-ranked event. The Boys 16-18 played 6,814 yards, the Boys 12-15 played 6,264 yards, and all Girls 12-18 played 5,400 yards and this course that featured several blind shots and elevation changes.
Pace of play was a very respectable 4 hours and 40 minutes on average.

In the Boys 12-15 we had two playoffs. John Rafael defeated Jake Judkins with a birdie of the second playoff hole to capture the championship. Meanwhile, JC Stoddard defeated Sebastian Ugalde on the 4th playoff hole with a par. There were a total of 6 rounds under par including a bogey-free final round of 6-under par 66 by Eloy Gonzalez.
